Rustic Charm: Celebrating Motherhood in the Countryside

Rustic Charm: Celebrating Motherhood in the Countryside

Nestled between the rolling hills of sprawling grapevine and dry grazing land, a charming, old farmhouse is cradled. With its tree-lined driveway, and antique cast-iron entry gates, the property is oozing with rustic charm as I admire the various original outbuildings, inclusive of a woolshed and stable complex, which at one point would have housed the horses who worked the land.

It is here that I am greeted by two-year-old Logan, who throws open the screen door and races to the car to greet me with a huge smile, and bright blue eyes. He is followed shortly after by Dad Ryan, and I immediately empathise with the struggles of a fellow parent trying to keep a country kid in a white shirt clean.

Logan informs me that Mummy is inside the house. Crystal joins us shortly thereafter, caressing her swollen belly. With only five weeks left before their new arrival, it's time to get stuck into some maternity photos!

The property boasted mouth-watering panoramic views of the landscape, and as the sun began to sink into the horizon, pink hues encompassed us, providing the perfect backdrop.

With Dad toddler-wranging behind-the-scenes, little Logan was a very obliging model, giving baby kisses and cuddles when asked. What a good big brother!

Of course, it wouldn't be a country session without a horse!

The property continued to deliver the goods as I discovered a windmill.

Thank you for entrusting me to capture these precious moments for you, Crystal, Ryan and Logan. Wishing you all the best with your new arrival!
